Corker did his job!

When most people have a view that Washington and Politician in-general are worthless. Senator Corker of Tennessee did his job. His plan was fair (It still had things I didn't like) but it was a fair bill. Yet the UAW would have nothing to do with it! Say Thanks to Senator Corker for looking out for us taxpayers!

New MacBooks more style over substance

Being a technophile I have more computers than I need and I make my living keeping them working. Both Apple and Windows machines need my services. I have for many years looked with envy on how they get such loyalty from the uneducated masses. Don't get me wrong I have Apple's (mini's) but the premium price is amazing. compare the top PC notebooks to the MacBook Pro and you see that the Windows machines have Blu-Ray, HDMI, and usesfull things like media card readers. The inside people say no Blu-Ray because Apple followers don't need it they only drink I mean buy/rent movies from iTunes. Media readers don't look cool and no firewire on the non-pro models. Inside there are six LSI (Liquid Submersion Indicators) if you spill the coffee they will know and your Apple Care will not work (READ the SMALL PRINT). I like the new Display Port, But you have to pay the extra $$$$ for the converts to work on your current stuff!

But they are so stylish!

RIP the Family Dog

Our little Pug was put to sleep today. He has been having seizure's for over a year. There is no cure for his condition there is some medacine we tried and it did not help. My wife thinks it actually made things worse. We will miss him

Most all of my family and my wife's family live in Texas. Thankfully everone is ok, my brother-in-law had some damage, but nothig really bad. He will be really busy since he an agent with State Farm but this happen every few years if you life in Beaumont.

I'm surprised I'm really voting for John McCain

Well I don't vote for to many Democrats but that doesn't mean I allways vote for the Republican. The Obama express has hit wreck and I'm not sure they can get it back on the tracks! So I now voting for McCain/Palin now that is done. On to my other problems
